Lead and Copper Inventory Report
In 1991, EPA published a regulation to control lead and copper in drinking water. This regulation is known as the Lead and Copper Rule (also referred to as the LCR).
As a public water system, the Town of Many has developed and implemented a policy to identify and track service line materials in normal operations with maps, inspection reports, permits, service line installations and other records. We also went to every water meter on the Town's water system and physically inspected the lines going into the water meter on our side and the lines going out of the water meter to the customer's side. In doing this, the Town of Many has not located any lead or copper lines in our water system that needs to be replaced.
