PUBLIC NOTICE FOR SEALED BIDS
The Town of Many is accepting bids on Potassium Permanganate; Liquid Chlorine Gas (150# cylinders); Liquid Chlorine Gas (2000# cylinders); and Soda Ash (50 # Bag) for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. Please call the Town Clerk at City Hall 318-256-4010 to request specifications for each chemical.
Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, 965 San Antonio Ave., Many, LA 71449 until 3:30 P.M. on June 15, 2023 at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. The bids will then be presented to the Town Council for review and award at the June 20, 2023 Regular meeting.
Bidder should bid on bidder’s letterhead, with bid signed by bidder’s representative. The sealed bid envelope should be plainly marked “Potassium Permanganate”, or “Liquid Chlorine Gas”, or “Soda Ash” showing the bidders name, bid opening date and time.
Any bid received after the bid closing time will be returned unopened. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Certificate of liability and workers comp insurance required. Once bid is awarded the Town will have to issue purchase orders for the chemical as needed.
